If you sell your books via Amazon, you need to have an Amazon Central Account, and here’s why. Author Central allows you to create an Author Page where you can share information about your books and your biography, putting all of your books in one place. If you are starting and plan to make a career in writing, you need a web presence. This is an easy solution if you can’t afford a website.

You also can add photos and videos via Author Central. These are great marketing tools to introduce yourself to future readers. This is a great place to insert book trailers or interviews that you may have filmed for YouTube, TikTok, Stories, and Reels. If you have a blog, you can add it as well.
